CAPITAL CITY BLUES AND RIVER FESTIVAL

Come out and join us for a night of blues, food and fun all for a great cause!  Saturday August 26 from 6 to 10pm at the Ward Oates Amphitheater in Frankfort.

The Capital City Blues & River Festival committee is pleased and EXCITED to announce that Robbie Bartlett AND Tee Dee Young are back as the headliner for this year’s Festival!

All of the proceeds from this event will go directly to Family Abuse Services, Inc. (FASI). FASI is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of family violence. As part of its mission, FASI operates SOLACE, the community’s only housing for domestic violence and elder abuse victims and operates as a clearinghouse for victims to receive critical information and assistance. FASI also strives to build awareness of child abuse, partner abuse and elder abuse issues. Last year, FASI assisted 190 individuals (men, women, and children) by providing over 3,555 safe nights of housing, developing future safety plans or providing referrals to other community support services. In 2016, FASI transitioned SOLACE to a newer and larger facility which has given FASI the ability to serve more victims of family abuse.
